Before the fabric is cut, it is washed & dried on 'hot' 3 times- without detergent or fabric softener. All this pre-washing minimizes further shrinkage & tightens up the fabric threads ... that's why your bag is soft and extremely strong.
Each bag is lined and all seams (inside & outside) are doubled stitched - making this bag capable of holding very heavy loads.
These bags are unique and NOT mass produced ... between 1 to 4 bags are made per pattern - by one person - Ruth (aka ... the fabric hog).
Two 24" padded fleece lined handles are triple stitched when attached.
Fully loaded - you can carry this bag over your shoulder - or with a straight arm - and it will not touch the floor.
A Fabric Hog bag has the same dimensions as those sold in supermarkets & is easy to pack - capable of holding over 15 pounds of groceries - or just about anything else you can think of - gym clothes, books, toys ... anywhere you go - just take your bag.
Bags can be machine washed & dried in cool or warm - and if you are not lazy like me - a quick iron can make them look new.
